What can you guys deduce from the rims in the attached picture? The tires are 225/40/18 so that means the rims are 18" right? How do I find width? It's on a 2000 Honda Accord.

Thanks!

225 is the width in millimeters.

...of the tire. you cant tell the width of the rim by just the tire size, you can estimate, but you cant be 100% sure. i'm estimating the rims are 7.5 or 8" wide

So the rims are
-18" diameter
-4 lug (since it's on a 2000 Accord sedan)
-offset is 114.3mm (please correct me if I'm wrong)
-7.5" - 8" width (?)

I am trying to sell them so is there anything else I should know about the wheels??

VTECaddict, 225mm = 8.5 inches so how did you come up with 7.5" - 8"??

Thanks

I thought 114.3 is the bolt pattern...

that or u've got some crazy offset! :lmao:

if you know the brand of the rim, and the model, then you can look up all the necessary specs... check out tirerack.com

All rims have a stamp or a boss on them with there size!! You just have to find it. They could be 7" 7.5" or 8" in an 18" the 225 is the width of the tread on the tire and has nothing to do with rim size.

114.3 is bolt pattern dimension
