Hey I' m looking to buy some HIDs and i have no idea what im looking out, i been reading the forums here and know i want either 5000k or 6000k but im lost on whats the difference between 35w and 55 w ...does it matter? which one is better??

Also i was looking on some websites and see all these different types of hid kits? like H11 or 9007? does it matter? what kit you get?

I also want to make my fog lights yellow? Recommend hid kit or just yellow bulbs??

First thing first is tell us what car you have.

09 accord coupe ex-l with fog lights:thmsup:

You need H11 kit. 35w or 55w and 5000K/6000K is completely up to you. 6000K will have a very slight bluish tint to it. If you go with Retrosolutions I'd suggest 5000K in either 35 or 55w. I went with 55w myself.

Put it in myself, as easy as replacing factory bulbs, just a couple more things to connect and find a place in the bumper area to put the ballasts. I used 3M double sided tape to secure them.

I found the task much easier to do using a flash light to light the area after you open the wheel well cover.
