View Full Version : 08 accord sedan check engine light DJt0kki 08-05-2009, 10:50 PM So today as I was driving, and there was no check engine light. I drove to see my friend to smoke and when I get back into the car I see the check engine light on. I have 13k miles on my car would this repair be under my warrenty? In any case go to an AutoZone or PepBoy or something to get the CEL code read, it maybe as simple as a gas cap not on properly, if the case then they can reset the code for you right there, and just undo the cap, reinstall and be on your way. I know other cars do this through the CEL but in the 8th gen, it actually tells you what the issue is. MatmanVT 08-06-2009, 06:17 AM I would get it checked. My check engine light is on too :thumbsdow 6,000 miles. I thought it was the gas cap because it went away awhile, but then it comes back. :thumbsdow Btw, I read that Autozone doesn't do the free checks anymore because they were getting sued or wrongly diagnosing car problems. I'm not sure tho |
