Will a reputable company with US dealers ever make a unit for non-nav coupes such as Road Rover or Fly Audio?

I was thinking about purchasing one of those units but just can't get myself to do it because of the risks involved.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Highly unlikely. If you want Navigation, get the Accord with Navigation built-in. Yes, there are many risks with those. Warranty issues would be the main thing, including warranty with the unit itself since it is from China. Lack of support from China, and the risk of no map upgrades. One of those is touchscreen based, so good luck trying to reach into that dash pocket for the screen while driving. Also none of them offer satellite radio because satellite radio doesn't exist in China.

I see.

Yeah I'm actually more interested in dvd playback and other functions of an aftermarket headunit than nav which is why ultimately I decided to forgo the navigation.

However, I do like the look of the console with nav slightly better than without but I guess that's a minor difference.

I use a state of the art 2D navigation system (better known as a map)

I went for this option (OEM) because i dont want china stuff on my accord
Now i am having huge issues to put the OEM working on a non-NAV system
