The last meet we got a good turnout with the little time we knew about it. So I'm giving us some more time to organize.

Like always this is a bring some stuff kind of meet.

List of stuff we need:Stuff that we need: Don't worry if someone else got it. More the better.

I'm definitely down this time. As long as I don't have any school work that weekend or anything I'm definitely there, just remember not to speed after you pay the entry fee to the park, as cops like to hide out around there.

I'll bring a cooler and a couple can soda boxes...

yo chris... sorry bro... i havent been on this thread for awhile... next saturday is good for me as far as i know.. if i go ill be there around noon and probably stay for a few hours.. than i gotta bounce back home... so im down to roll.. but im not going to go to st. johns.. im coming from out east, by near exit 63 on the l.i.e..... i can get there pretty quick from where i am.. i been there before to play golf at the state course there.. nice spot with huge parking lots... ill tell you the concert parking lot at jones beach would be a sick spot also and you dont have to pay anything... could take the ride down ocean parkway with like 40 cars deep... would be dope... but there is alot of cops there and alot of us would get written im sure...

and i know my car needs a drop... so nobody start flaming my whip when i pull up there... lol maybe ill bring all the detailing equipment and do some cars there.. make some dough to get a drop...

Yup. Same deal at Sunken Meadow though, I suggest people with dark tints roll down their windows, lower the music, and slow down.

Indeed. I will definitely try my hardest to be there, but I can't guarantee it. Does anyone here have the 3M headlight restorer. My passenger headlight is either getting foggy on the inside or just needs reclearing. Anyone know how to tell?

I have Meguiar's PlastX .. works really well for headlights .. I'll bring it to the meet for you

Yup, simply because when you travel in another state you're required to abide by their laws. It's happened before, just roll down your windows for that bit and your done. Unless you have 5% tints, you shouldn't have a problem on the LIE. Those of you from Jersey, taking the Holland to the BQE to the LIE is the best route to NOT get lost. LOL. After the LIE, I suggest you follow a GPS unless you're cruising with someone that knows how to get there.

I'll just use google maps on iphone .. but if people are meeting up and going together, I'm down for that

hey kopi.... if your bringing the flex than i aint bringing my p.c... forget it.. i was gonna do some spray details there with the pb spray and wipe and some aquawax, your breaking out the big guns... haha.. id be surprised if there was electricity there but you never know... i only went there once to play golf, big parking lots there... LIE exit 53 sunkin meadow parkway north all the way to the end... very simple to do.. hardest part for you guys will be coming thru the city...

I'll bring a PC 7424 that I'm looking to sell .. used it about 10 times and it comes with the instructions, 5.5" and 4" backing plates and counterweights .. $75 takes it all

Queens, NY. Exit 25 or 26 on the LIE (not 100% sure, but signs are posted on the highway itself). It's about 45 mins from the park with minimal-no traffic, probably less doing 65-70. Highway Patrol goes hard on there now though, so you gotta be careful.

yea i agree..highway patrol is starting to be a pain..they do random inspections..which i always get pulled over for actually..i only seen one charger on the highways...to st johns theres maybe one charge..on the way bak..ehh nothin but the NYC Police dpt help vehicles..maybe a state trooper enterin northern parkway..but thats bout it

i agree..the last meet i did out there..i ended up racing a bike on the sunken meadow parkway for like a good 2 miles doing over 120..not a single cop in site..lol but after we stopped racing like a mile later there was a cop sitting in the bushes...

I can't cause its a family business and my brother will be away that week and my other friend already has a scheduling conflict, so it's on me. Besides, I will be able to study for my big exam the following week. Next meet in NY I won't flake out, lol.. as long as I can follow someone.

I still see Highway Patrol, although not as often as a couple months ago. I'm just putting it out there, so that no one does anything stupid on that day. The Sunken Meadow Parkway I don't think I've seen a cop, it's the LIE, I always see 3-4 cars pulled over on any given day that I'm driving on there for 15 - 20 minutes.

in PA you have Skirmish .. easily the best paintball place in the country .. the only negative is that you have to buy their paint and it's $95 a case :thumbsdow:thumbsdow:thumbsdow

I play at a place called ABC paintball in West ****ord NJ (up by the NY state border) .. it's pretty small .. one speedball field and a decent woods field .. the best thing is that it's $15 entry fee if you bring your own gear and you don't have to buy their paint (which is decently priced anyway).

Then in Long Island there's Cousins Paintball and High Velocity .. I haven't played at either but they both got good reviews at http://www.pbreview.com/fields/34/

I've heard good about cousins. Sounds like the place to go. Making this an annual thing would be nice.

About teh SJU meetup, I'm not sure how easy it'd be to get to that specific gate? Can we meetup at that Dunkin' Donuts? Is there a parking lot there? Something with a physical address that we can plug into google maps or our GPS units?

I play at a place called ABC paintball in West ****ord NJ (up by the NY state border) .. it's pretty small .. one speedball field and a decent woods field .. the best thing is that it's $15 entry fee if you bring your own gear and you don't have to buy their paint (which is decently priced anyway).

Then in Long Island there's Cousins Paintball and High Velocity .. I haven't played at either but they both got good reviews at http://www.pbreview.com/fields/34/


high velocity is right near where i live and so is cousins.. in coram and medford...

theres a hooters at exit 57 which is in islandia... its right on the expressway entrance ramp by the bj's.... not to far from sunken meadow, but out of the way from you guys coming from the west...

I'll be at Hooters =P. I know I'm going to get lost at SJU. I went to their open house earlier this year and I got lost trying to find parking. Just try to be at Hooters around 10 so we can head out early.

i got a bunch of tail light and head light tint material and black vinyl....anyone good at applying that stuff

well there is 85 people on the list plus there are some more people that are not on the list but i would say about 65 to 70 people will show up to this..that is what i am hoping for..it would be great if everyone showed up :)

We're trying to set one up in Flushing Meadow Park, in the Hall of Science Parking Lot for October 4th, which is a Sunday. Nothing is set nor exact, but this is what is "developing."

word.... it was definitely a good time.. lots of nice rides there.. i look foward to going again and checking more out... sunken meadow park is such a nice place to... boardwalk and the nature trails.. you feel like you are upstate when you pull in... nice spot..

bald hill would be a good spot for a meet to, but thats probably to far out east for alot of you...

i used to do all my meet up in Harriman state park...great location and for those who like to test their ride on twisty..there is a lot of them up there..its fun..lol

and if you do a meet on the 4th i will not be in town i will be in vegas...so let me know..
