Does anyone know what the loud vibration noise is under the back seat. The car runs out of gas with half a tank of gas still in the tank.

Sounds to me like your fuel gauge is inaccurate.

sounds like the fuel pump is starving for fuel, it'll cavitate. The sound of a pump like that running with no or restricted fuel supply is a loud screaming type noise.

LXi should be injected.

Has the bottom of the tank been damaged?

You can access the fuel pump from under the back seat through the access panel.

Discribe the sound first, when your stationary or driving? does the frequency and intensity of the sound change with speed? it could be a bearing or worn bushing, without hearing the sound or a fine description I also don't have a clue.
