Besides taking the wheels off and looking, is there anywhere to find out the exact specs (specifically offset) on Honda OEM wheels?
I'm looking for a set of wheels to use in the winter with some winter tires. I know that my wheels are 16 x 6.5 with a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, but what is the offset? I've read on here that the offset is 50mm. I assumed that the '03-'05 4-cyl EX wheels were the same size but I've read that the offset on them is 55mm.
So, is there a website (Honda parts one or something) that lists all the wheel specifications?
BTW, how much of an impact would a 5mm difference in offset be? Being an engineer by trade, I feel more comfortable using a wheel that is identically spec'ed.
Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find any official numbers and I have also heard its 55mm, but here is a site that explains how you can actually measure the offset yourself. I think if you remove a wheel and deflate the tire you should be able to get the straight edge to lie flat enough for a good measurement.

Rest assured on the 03-05 Accord its 55mm for sure!!

Well, see, I was wrong with the offset on my wheels! I thought it was 50 and now it looks like it's 55 - thanks!
I reached behind the wheel last night and felt where the markings are. I was thinking I could get some vellum (courtesy of work) and do a "tracing" of the markings and thereby read them without taking the wheels off.

If you've got kids, use some play-doh and press it against the casting so you can read it!
I've been researching lots of Honda wheels, and found some info:
Accord OEM wheels that are 5 lug are all at 50-55mm offset, even the Gen 6 wheels. Only difference is the center hole bore, which is 70.3mm on the Gen 6 and 64.1 on the Gen 7 (so you'd need hub-centric rings to use 'em)
TSX and TL wheels have the same offset and same center bore size as the Gen 7 accord.
Old-style Legend wheels have a (gulp) 65mm offset - sit too far in for the Accords (unfortunately - some deals to be had).
Other Honda wheels (CR-V, Odyssey (pre-05), Civic SI 5-lug) will work as well. Some are 6" wheels but have smaller offset to bring them closer to the 55mm offset for the OEM accord wheels.
Most will work and are close enough to not know enough difference.
As a comparison, I tried an aftermarket set of Discount Tire "Rage" wheels that had an offset of 40mm in a 15x6.5" wheel, and the differenece in offset did make the wheels stick out a bit further and promoted a bit more outer edge tire wear in the 800 miles I ran them.

The TSX and TL do NOT HAVE the same offset of the 7th gen Accords.....I have 04-05 TL wheels and they're 45mm offset, the Accord is 55mm. That is why they stick out a little bit more than the OEMs, besides of course the fact that they're 1.5" wider - 8'' instead of 6.5".
The offset on the TSX wheels I believe is 50mm - not 100% on this one but pretty positive.

LOL! :lmao: That's a great idea! Especially considering I have both in the house!
I'm now set for wheels now as I managed to score a set of 2004 EX V6 take-offs. They only have about 5 miles on them and two still had the protective plastic film on! Of course now I'm thinking I should keep 'em (or sell 'em) and just use steelies to avoid beating the heck out of them in the winter. We'll see...
Now it's off to research winter tires...
