I noticed some cool new lighting at ledautomotive.com

They have all pics of their blue lighting I'm wondering if anybody has or has seen pics of the red lighting.

Sorry if this is 'old' stuff (customizing wise) but I am new to the import scene so stuff like this looks exciting to me. :)

I know someone who had the red lights in his 99 Accord coupe, he liked them :dunno: I like blue better...this company is not bad IMO, they've been around a while. I was going to buy from them but decided not to pour 100 bucks into lighting when I drive in the daytime anyway.

My A4 had red interior "ambient lighting". It wasn't bad. All the interior dash and instruments lights were red too so it was kind of overkill IMO. I liked the "jet fighter" atmosphere with the red but it got obnoxious after a few hours. I like my Accord's gold lighting better. Easier on the eyes after 4 hours of night driving, too. I'm not sure about blue - I'd have to see it in person.

Trip, didn't your Passat have blue?

Check here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm. I changed all the interior bulbs in our Pilot and really like it. However, I tried it in the '98 Accord, but didn't like the look and ended up taking them out. Prices are really good, selection is wide, service is fast, and shipping isn't all that expensive.

Trip, didn't your Passat have blue?

The ambient lighting in the Passat wasn't blue. The gauge numbers and accents were blue with red needles and the LCD displays on the auto climate control and the stereo were blue but everything else was red. Everything was lit up red in the Passat - the dash vents, the door switches, the steering wheel switches, the fuel door/trunk release switches . . . and it was a really bright red. The steering wheel especially got obnoxious . . . luckily there was a button to turn it off. The Passat also had the ambient red lighting which was mounted under the rear view mirror so that added to the wash of red.
