Honestly, knowing many (too many, if you ask me) people who text and drive, drink and drive, ... I don't think they'll ever learn. I'm constantly trying to show them films with terrible crashes, but they always say "Nah, that driver is an idiot, I'm too skillful for something like that to happen to me!"

As long as they are only killing themselves, I don't care....

Its the others that bother me. Thank goodness he hit a wall.

Yup people like dat will never learn. I feel because they survived the first one, they feel they will survive anything that's why they keep doing dumb things.

I saw that whole video on Tru TV the other day.

It wasn't his first accident with those buses.

some people can multi task. some can't. not that i'm better than anyone. but i've never came close to hitting anything while being on my phone/driving. not once. ever. texting i wont do, but talking hasn't ever caused me any issue whatsoever.

@starbai, once is enough.

I myself am quite good multitasker - however, I always use handsfree when driving and never text. If I receive a message, I would read it at a stop light and, if necessary, call the sender back.

Today, coming home from work, I almost got killed by a young lady texting and driving. It was at a cross-section: she continued through red light! And if a bus driver behind me didn't honk the horn, I'd probably be in my bedroom now doped up with pain killers and looking like a mummy - or worse. Luckily, my intuition had acted for me and I've slammed on gas - otherwise, the bus behind me probably wouldn't manage to stop ending up "in my trunk". She hit the street light pole. No injury. Two cars from the opposite direction (the same street as I was) had fender bender crash. Everyone else was OK.

Interesting thing, however, is that she didn't take a moment to ask anyone is injured - the only things she was really upset about were:
1. Her car
2. Her cellphone flew out of her window and smashed into pieces
3. Her broken nail
