Hi, my car it a accord 93 4door lx and i need to change the engine. Because it overheat.
What I want to know it: can i used a different engine generation to replace it?
Does any one know if i can install 6th or the 7 th generation engine in the old accord 93 without problem or mob?
Or should i just stick with the same generation engine.

Given the extreme hardware differences, I think it will be much simpler and cheaper for you to locate a good, used engine exactly as you have. I suggest you contact your local salvage yards.

I would get a JDM F22B DOHC non-VTEC. I put one in my 92 EX which I got for $650 shipped with 56,000 miles on it. Drops right in, same mounts, no changes in wiring, etc. I did use an H23A1 distributor because it uses an external coil (a better design in my opinion) but it was a great upgrade and I recommend it to anyone wanting more without the complexity of an H22.

I agree. I was aiming towards the F22B DOHC NON VTEC for awhile but instead I got enough dough to get me an H22.
F22B DOHCs are best bang for the buck!
