I'll snap some pics for everyone. I had some old 8" Bazookas (one powered, one slave) and I replaced the subs with some new Fosgates. Ran all the trunk wiring using corregated tubing so it looks stock and used the signal from the rears. Didnt have time to run the power and remote wire. I was trying to figure out how to remove the driver side floor panel thingy (forgot what the was called), you know, the plastic that covers the wiring and houses the gas trunk lever. Anybody know how to remove this? I suspect I just need to yank and pop it off, but I want to be sure before I do this...Thanks... It breaks. enzoferrari650 11-24-2005, 12:12 PM It took me more than an hour to find a hole to run my power wire when I installed my basslink last week. On mine, if you look near the center of the firewall, about 1ft from the top, there is a grommet (I looked from the left side of the engine compartment). Take the grommet out and reach a finger in there. Search for the hole between the two cloth-like material and try to sorta open it up. Then stick your wire in and slowly work it into that hole. Push the wire through and you should see it come out to the right side of your gas pedal. I then ran my wire through the center console, under the driver seat, and through the driver side to the trunk. Enzo |
