Got some new wheels finally, replacing the stock 15s with hubcaps for some 17s with goodyear eagle gts. I noticed this week that my rear passenger tire looked low, so when I got home from work yesterday I checked the tire pressure. It had less than 10 lbs and I could see that there was a nail in it. So I filled 'er up and headed to the tire shop for a repair. Turns out that my tires were too sun rotted to be able to repair them. Well, if I was going to replace my tires, then I wanted to go ahead and take the plunge and get bigger rims as well. Worked out a good deal (12 months no interest with nothing down) with warranty and all. Here they are.

The bad thing is that now the wheel gap looks so much more obvious to me. Now I'm saving up to get the eibach pro kit.:naughty:

I have 06 in the same color. Those look pretty good. I've been thinking and wonder how good white would look on them. 17s look like the way to go for me though, I believe I have 16s.

Sun rotted? Where do you live? Heh, and yeah, those wheels look very nice. Good choice; what are they?

Nice, I like the clean look of 17s along with the cheaper price of rims and tires, and not having to worry about bending one. WIN/WIN

They are MB wheels, I believe these ones http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/images/med_Five_X.jpg

The outside rims have a shiny aluminum finish, and the spokes have a silver powder coat on them.

I live in the CA desert. I park my car outside. Normal temperature here is into the triple digits for a good portion of the year. The cool thing is, as long as the tires I bought have good tread on them, I can get them replaced if the same thing happens because of the good warranty on them. I also like that the clear coat on the rims is covered in the warranty, so they can be replaced if there is any flaking on them.
