Hi all,
I have a 2007 I4 Coupe Ex-L that I would like to install a sub that I pulled out of my old Civic and I'm looking for suggestions at to a suggested penetration point for the power (battery) line. On the Civic I just ran it through the AC condenser drain opening. I have looked at the Accord and I just can't locate and easy through point. Also, I'm guessing that the easiest routing for the power and line input cables to the trunk area would be under the console area....any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

Look above the accelerator pedal, on my V6, the cable for the pedal to TPS that's outside has a grommet I ran my power wire through. If you're using a very heavy gauge wire, this won't work.

Thanks Fred, I'll have a look. This isn't a very large gauge wire, as the sub isn't that powerful.

Thanks,

Mark

on my 07 sedan there is a rubber piece by where a clutch pedal would be, it is hard to miss.

Not sure if the 06-07 have the same grommets as 03 - 05. I have an 05 and this is the grommet I used. It was the easiest to access IMO. The wire under the yellow line is my power wire covered in a wire cover thing. The wires above the blue line, is a factory harness(be very cautious not to cut any of these if you choose this wiring location). Sorry for the dark pic. If you need a better one let me know and I can try to get one. The wire comes out right under the passenger dash. I just ran it under the floor mat, under the passenger seat, under the rear floor mat, under the rear seat, and into the trunk.

Sorry for the long awaited pics my mom has been using my car this week since hers is in the shop.

the first pic is taken to the left of the brake pedal.
the second pic is taken as if you were looking in your hood behind your front drivers side wheel.
