Decided to swap brake pads all around with Duralast Cmax (Autozone) pads ceramics. Did rear pads 2 weeks ago fast no problem. This past weekend swapped out front pads but they were about 1'' smaller with different shims. It worked but wasnt completely happy with them. Decided yesterday to remove them and go back to Autozone. After checking other 4 cylinder pads they were all the same so I tell them get me a set of 6 cylinder brake pads and sure enought the 6 cylinder pads matched my 4 cylinder car. So my question is does anyone else have an I4 coupe with 4 cylinder back brakes with 6 cylinder front brakes?

Not sure about the sizing, but I wonder if the fronts are larger since they're the drive wheels. :dunno:

Front brakes are always larger but the part numbers for the 6 cylinder and 4 cylinder front pads are different and so are the pads. My car has the 6 cylinder pads.

there 2 sets of front brake pads on 08+ Accord's , LX with 11.1 rotors and EX 2.4L/V6 with 11.8 rotors, so it seems there mixing up LX with all 2.4L models on front pads/rotors ?
Ask them rotor size and that should answer that.

They knew it was EX and I saw him select everything on his computer and he did it right. I also checked for the part number at home on my computer and it was correct. Quick question, does the back brakes have different rotor sizes in the LX and EX models?

No, backs are all the same.
What I was saying is make sure 11.8 rotor size comes up when he entered EX model, sounds like a database error then on there end.

Thats what I told them, but there were a bunch of kids that dont care. There web site and there computer doesnt mention rotor size. There replacement rotors dont mention size just 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder so im sure that was the problem. Thanks for your input.
