I need the black rubber strip that goes on the driver side passenger door. It clicks into those holes along the door. Does anyone know a good place to order it for a good price? I think I just found that they are called door mouldings.

Do you mean a weatherstrip molding?

The are called door mouldings, at least that's what they are called on the site I found them. They are the strips on the outside of each door. On my car they are black, but sometimes they are painted the same color as the car. Now I need find the pieces that hold them on.

Jeffrimerman:
You do NOT indicate what year and "trim level" of car you have. (e.g. DX, LX, EX, and so forth...)
However, in agreement with Reframmellator, I think what you're talking about is the OEM body side molding. You will have to obtain this from either your local Honda dealer or a salvage yard.

Yeah, I was just looking for a supplier in general. I figure they supply for multiple years and trim levels. I did find one and it was only like $35 for all the mouldings. I also found a complete set on ebay with free shipping for $38 so not too bad. I really only need one piece but unless I go to a junk yard I will have to order the whole set.
Do you know who to pull one off if I happen to find it at a junk yard? I don't want to break it while trying to remove it.

Removing OEM Honda molding(s) from a car in a salvage yard (or otherwise) is kinda tricky.
The underside of the molding has special clips which lock into holes drilled in the panel. This requires a special tool, otherwise you will likely break the clips. Some moldings also have an adhesive strip which complicates the process.
I seldom bother with used moldings, instead buying a new one from the dealer. Since you will find OEM molding somewhat expensive, perhaps your best choice is the complete set you located on Ebay. :dunno:

yes they are side door moldings. and obviously the function of them is to protect the actual door from other car doors. LX and DX trims come in black, EX and SE are color matched. i've heard they are tricky to remove.

I wish I could just order the one I need. Maybe I will ask the ebay seller about that.
