I am planning on getting new tires. So far I have looked at the following:

Bridgestone Potenza G 019 Grid - $91ea
Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S - $129ea

My situation is I live in NYC. We get our share of snow but it plow regularly here. I am looking for something with a bit more snow grip, comfort, and quieter than the crappy Dunlops. So far the Potenza Grid is well priced and has decent reviews at Tire Rack. What you guys think?

Opinions very welcome!

Wrong. My GF has the Si with summer package and it has Pilot Exalto PE2 which is a summer only tire. The Exalto A/S is supposed to be a "performance" all season so they gave it a similar name to their performance summer tire.

If you want save used tire disposing fee ($3/each) in NYC, I take your 4 old tires.

I had the Potenza G019 Grids on my Taurus.

I liked them for their handling and grip, but they were a bit noisy until I hit 40mph. After that they were silent though. And if your car sits for a while they may develop "flat-spots", but they do quickly disappear.

As for driving in snow, I only drove in snow/slush once with them, and the experience was enough to have me put my snow tires on within that week! :lmao:

Well, you are in Penn. And from what I heard, they are very bad at keeping the roads plowed down there.

How does the noise compare to the stock ones on your CRV (tho taurus is a diff car)?

Haha yeah PENNDOT equals FAIL. :thumbsdow

I didn't think the noise was "intrusive"...but it was there (then again, you will have that with any tire). I'd say the Goodyears (which I hate...but I digress) on my CR-V are quieter, but I would gladly choose the G019 over ANY Goodyear product.

I actually had G009's (the G019 Grid is the "new" version of them) on my Accord, and I really liked them, which was why I chose the Grids for the Taurus.
