I'm unsure if any of you recognize me from other internet car enthusiast boards, but I'm usually only on the boards for about a year - before I sell my car and move onto something else. Yesterday the wife and I decided to trade in the coupe, which I'm less than thrilled about (if you couldn't tell, this time, the wife "made" me do it). I put 14,200 miles on my 09 in 356 days and still managed to get 22k for the trade - not too shabby in my eyes. We picked up a '10 Corolla LE on the cheap for the wife to drive back and forth to work. I'm going to take her CR-V and drive it until the wheels fall off and I have the Wing for the warmer months.

I try to visit the boards from time to time, so this isn't a permanent "goodbye", but I'll definitely be around a lot less.

But loosing a grand here and there is something I am willing to do since I like (and want) new cars and have the income and ability to do so. Obviously I don't recommend doing the same for others unless they can afford it too:biggrin: But ultimately, I've wanted to get rid of it after it was in an accident 3 weeks after I bought it. I don't like driving wrecked cars, no matter the damage.

I'm not a member, but I do stop by from time to time. I am a member of the CRV-OC...and as far as I am concerned, that place is a joke. I only go there for the lulz anymore. :lmao:

Don't get me wrong, no-one/no-way/no-how tells me what I can buy - not buy - keep - not keep. But, at times, certain situations & certain scenarios require some self-sacrifice & personal responsibility. There's not much more to it. . .

It was a part of the deal if I got the Wing that I'd have to sell the coupe. Events aligned up just right this past weekend (my dealer found a buyer), so I wanted to jump on it so momma wasn't pestering me anymore!:D

On another note, I drove my wife's Ody this weekend. I noticed some new big scrapes on the left rear edge of the bumper. I asked her about it and she said: "Oh yeah, I was going to tell you about that, it happened a WEEK ago"...........:paranoid:

If it would have been ME who scraped the van, all heck woulda broken loose...........:lmao:
