Hey what's up? I just moved into the San Diego area, and just bought my car in mid-July and I love her to death :notworthy

She is a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 and currently has 115K with a clean title :) All I've done to her was tint and lots of preventive maintenance.

I joined the forum to get some DIY info and tech support for some preventive maintenance. The one I'm working on now is a window regulator. It went out on me and now it makes some weird noises and barely goes all the way up but I got the new part now and ill try to install it tomorrow. Maybe ill do a write up if it looks good enough because I haven't seen one anywhere on google, but I don't know how to put more pics than just 5 :dunno:

Alrighty people!

Smart man  Maybe pdr the ding on the drivers side. Put some Black Wow on the front grill and black trim by the door window.

VERY "Clean Machine!"

I don't see any driver's side ding mentioned by Satin Silver.

Has your car had the entire 105K service performed?

And, how's the tranny operating?

everything has been done EXCEPT the timing belt service, water pump, all the dry belts, etc., etc. I don't have the money to do that service yet and I bought the car at 112k, 3 months ago so I only drove it as long as an oil change.

as far as "everything" goes, I changed the tranny fluid (30k service), oil/filter (using the 2nd best! Mobil 1), air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs (90K i believe), the main relay (found out it was a common problem of why accords never start up), got some new tires, and seafoamed the car.

the tranny is smooth and it hasnt given me any problems *knock on wood* but it does make a loud scratching sound when i put it in gear but i think its because im parked at a downhill angle because it doesnt make that noise on a level surface

so how do you post more pictures? more than 5? thanks for the welcome!

There's a ding in the rear quarter panel maybe a foot behind the drivers door.

on the front and at the end. Once you upload the pictures to photo bucket you will see a list of links under each picture. If you copy the bottom link it will put the IMG code on the picture for you. Just paste that link in your post and that picture will show up.

Now, just change tyres & rims when you can, and then it will be more nicer, real beauty :)

Good luck with your new car!
