A CAI?

If I get either I would be looking at a SRI... But what kind of gain should I expect?

depends on what intakes you are comparing. SRI approx 5hp 5tq, CAI approx 8-10hp 6tq. This is WHP and WTQ.

SRI makes its HP and TQ down low, CAI is more of a higher rev range solution.

the AEM V2 also added noticeable WHP/WTQ on the low end for me

You honestly wont feel any difference.

Complete waste of money, IMO.

I thought a lot of people who got the AEM V2 saw gains?

What performance parts (N/A and without going ALL out) would allow me to see some gains... Nothing too crazy but maybe like 10-20 whp?

A combination of mods.

I'd say intake, headers and exhaust, but if I remember correctly the V6 has its headers welded to the block, so there are only catback exhausts available. I know this is true for the 3G Acura TL.

But yeah, an intake, cat-back exhaust, throttle body spacer might get you a noticeable gain.

In before people make jokes about throttle body spacer.

If you go to V6P.net there is a guy named Paul that makes some custom parts for the V6 at very reasonable prices. Check it out.

 I have my SRI that Paul made for sale in the classifieds section on V6P and it's much better quality than most intakes out there (and I own an AEM V2). You will get maybe 5hp from an intake, but it's true, it's mostly about the sound than the performance gain. I didn't feel any difference in performance between Pauls and the V2. The V2 just sounds deeper.
