You, no dought, have already notice a few changes here at Drive Accord. A few forums have new names or descriptions to better optimize the page for the search engines and a couple new panels. Let me know, good or bad, what issues, if any, the changes made for you.

Do whatever is needed to maintain this great place. Only one item bothers me a bit........the "Supercharge Your Accord" ad doesn't really belong on a class site like this.

It appears that the site is endorsing the product, which of course it is not, but it could be misconstrued.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I thought of that, but did you read the thread about where Wards' wife lost her job? And how this forum is run from his own checkbook?

Also the ads aren't controlled by Wards, they're random popup by Google with their smart technology to cater to whatever they feel like you might want.

I don't mind google ads. They're not obtrusive at all. I'm surprised there weren't more ads to begin with. Popup ads are where I'd draw the line. But banner and google text ads are AOK with me. The site's gotta be paid for somehow...

Thanks for the great forum, Wards.

Gotcha! I didn't realize the ads were random and by google. I was aware of the unfortunate job loss.

Thanks for the feedback and support. I wanted to keep the site ad free and have for years, but the times they are a changin, as the song goes. I appreciate your understanding and hope they do not detract from our tidy internet home.

Wards - I'm not a big fan of the ads -- that is part of the reason I sent you a check a while back. I guess if they are a necessary evil - I'll live with them.

First off, my appologies Feferic. I too am not a big fan of ads, but I thought it better to provides the means for member to help this site without me asking for donations. That and more than one request for donations becomes begging and I don't want to do that.

Sounds fair to me! Thanks for keeping this site going...
