New to forums. :wave:

I have a '06 Accord LX SE V4 that I got earlier this year and am starting to do routine maintenance. I wanted a good resource for feedback/information and ended up settling for this forum. So far it's been great and very helpful (read many wiper blade threads today and settled on OEM inserts based on user feedback).

I want to eventually replace the rotors and brake pads and searched for related threads here. I saw tirerack.com being recommended as a good source along with Brembo/Hawk HPS combination. So off I went to find this or something comparable for my '06 Accord LX SE.

But, every single site I searched shows the '06 LX SE with rear drum brakes (the SE has 4 disc brakes). And, when I select '06 Accord SE on tirerack.com, they don't even have any products under "Brakes" category. :dunno:

Should I be using '06 Accord LX V6 in the search criteria for the correct front/rear set of rotors and brakes? Point me in the right direction guys...

4cyl EX should get you what you're looking for. FYI, Hawk pads create lots of dust.

i am pretty sure you DO NOT want to use V6 as it does not have rear drums whereas the i4 does...i could be wrong, but from my research that is what I understand.

The SE and Ex have 4 wheel disk. :thmsup:

my bad...i stand corrected.

just checked tirerack.com they have front and rear pads/rotors.

Thanks for clarifying that I can use EX i4 to select the parts.
