Well, my commute to school (5 days a week 50 miles round trip everyday) is through various construction zones near interstates etc, so I have A LOT of rock chips etc. I don't want it to get any worse and I'm looking into a deflector.

I saw the one from WeatherTech and it bolts right to the holes underneath the hood and it's only $60.

Has anyone had any experience with it?

[Note: I refuse to use a leather bra/mask so don't recommend them to me.]

try a clear bra, they're expensive hiring pros to put it on. if you have experience window tinting, you should be less than $200 for you to do it yourself.

Too expensive for me LOL. I just want something to at least protect it a little. I rather get a clearbra when I buy a new car. It's already bad, I wouldn't have the money to repaint my hood, bumper and quarter panels and then get clearbras installed.

Good recommendation , but out of budget :(.
