Hey Guys!
In the spring I was thinking about starting to take off the parts of my car that I added on... (getting ready to turn a lease in)

I have a factory wing-spoiler on my 2007 Graphite Pearl Accord sedan.
There's no scratches or any problems. I would sell everything that was put on (trunk springs?)

What would be a reasonable price or what do you guys typically see these sold for?

I would say $100 - $150. But wouldn't it cost you more to remove it since there are holes in the trunk?

Bad idea. As noted above, you are going to get burned on your lease when they see holes drilled into the trunk from the wing spoiler.

I concur!! Filling in the holes and repaint the trunk lid would require way more than $150 that you get after you sell your spoiler. Keep it on.

That's another reason why I never ever lease cars. Can't do anything to it at all.

You can do things to it (within reason, like Honda Accessories), but it is a waste of money since you don't own the car.

The good thing with Honda leases is that they give you $1500 worth of repairs/reconditioning when you turn the car in. I planned on putting caps in the holes and turning the car in. It's definitely not a $1500 repair job.

Just put a couple of these stickers over the holes.

Trade trunks with me if my 06 i4 has the same trunk. I want a lip spoiler actually. Does anyone know if the lip spoiler has the same diagram for cutting holes into?

The lip spoiler and wing spoiler are completely different. They won't have the same mounting holes.

Must be some NY thing, because there is no such thing as a repair/reconditioning bonus when you turn in a lease in CA. It is the other way around in CA, they look for the smallest amount of damage anywhere and then charge you for it.

I tried LOL. I don't like the look of the Wing spoiler, but if the holes were the same I would have just traded trunks.

GL man.

When I leased my car I was told it's a "Honda Thing" Didn't matter which state (I actually leased in Florida) as long as you financed the lease through American Honda Financial. I spoke with the dealer up here in NY and they say Honda still does it, NY, FL, anywhere... Maybe there's some "CA" exception. lol usually it's a NY & CA exception though lol

I would trade trunks with someone in NY if they wanted. I want to help you guys out here (and my wallet of course)
Why not? Right!
