i just notice while i was driving that something from the rear brakes is scratching eachother..anyone else having this problem?

squealing or scratching, is your parking brakes on or does it have an issue?

not squealing just scratching while i'm driving..its really bad and really loud..and no my parking brakes aren't on..just happened..

i tried taking both issues to honda..but they said its not covered under my warranty..they suck

That's the noise of the wear indicators from your brake pads. It's telling you it's time to change the pads. You should have about 5000 miles left before the pads wear down completely.

Try this, next time you're driving and you hear the noise, step on the brake. If the pitch changes, or disappear all together and come back after a couple miles, then it's definitely the wear indicator.

time for some ceramics or wait till the updated oem pads arrive. i would just stick with ceramic though best bang for the buck

yeah i think i'm' just gonna invest in something a lil better than stock..and i dont think its the indicators because it is non stop..really annoying..

i had the same thing happen last week. it was the rear pads coming a little loose from vibrations and the indicator would touch the rotor while driving. changed the pads out and now it's gone.

Ceramics will last longer, but they are high temp pads. In cold weather they will be very reluctant to bring u to a stop.
