Anyone have symptoms for a failing T/C? I still have idle problems, but only while in gear. The tranny doesn't slip, although the shifts are a bit abrupt (kinda like a shift kit)

I'm wondering if one of the blades has come loose causing the T/C to be out of balance causing most of the vibration at idle. (thinking out loud here) I get the impression of driving over a mild grate at times when the car is traveling at a slow rate of speed, on the threshold of shifting to the next lower gear (lugging almost) The symptoms are not as bad when the car is not up to Operating Temperature (OT)

Only other thing is when the tranny is cold, and I shift into reverse, you can hear fairly loud "clank" in the tranny on engage and disengage. I've always thought it was from the previous tranny rebuilder not properly spacing the reverse clutches because if you could imagine to much space between the plates, then suddenly compressing the clutch pack, that is exactly what it sounds like. Completely disappears once the tranny is at OT. Thanks
