I've said before that if Honda wanted a large car in their line up, they should have snagged a de-contented FWD RL for the job. It would have helped absorb tooling costs for the RL and given Honda the large Avalon/Maxima/SUV fighter they wanted. . . . And the Accord coulda been left as a midsized vehicle. :yes:

And to boot, the current Accord coupe could have been the perfect Legend, er, RL coupe for today. Imagine an Accord coupe variant with SH-AWD to fully harness the non-VCM 3.5L's power... without the new TL's styling :barf:

My thing is, even though I like the RL, its way overpriced for what you get. This year was only a facelift. MSRP is more than an M45? For a V6? WTF i'd buy a M45/35 or TL anyday before the RL. Better yet, save me 10k and I'll buy a Max SV or an SHO.

I drove an RL a few weeks ago when I was looking for a new car. Total crap as far as I'm concerned. It has all the personality of a Lincoln Town Car.
