One of the first things I added to my new car was a set of Retro-Solutions HIDs. I purchased their Digital kit in 5000k, and have had it in for about a month now. Huge improvement over the OEM halogens, very satisfied with them.

I'm still going to retrofit my projectors down the line though. :D

Would you mind posting a pic of the front of the car from like 20 feet back, that way u can really see the color of the lights hitting the floor and all... I'm debating on what to get im stuck between 5-8k atm :/

No problem. I'll have to wait till later today to do so, but I'll have them up.

Lots of glare! YAY!

Love the color though! What wattage?

Still debating 5k vs. 6k!

Thanks for a great product, and super fast shipping!

Actually, the glare is virtually non-existent in real life. Except for the first photo, I intentionally angled myself and adjusted the exposure to get that glare effect. I got the 35w kit.

did you get the slim or the regular kit?
I got the 55w slim 5000K one.

I guess i like it and all but I had katz HID's which were 100% made in japan on my old car... those were a bit higher quality .. of course it ran me $400-500 bucks but it was only 35Watts and it was significantly brighter on the road than the retro ones I have now.. oh well..

do you notice that it is brighter when you first ignite the HIDs? mine are perfect like 10 seconds after I turn on the HIDs. very bright and white on the road.. after about 30 seconds it looks like any halogen light on the road..(i am talking about the light output on the asphalt it self)

I got the regular kit. After they ignite, it takes about a second for them to reach full brightness. Your situation sounds unusual, since mine are much brighter than the stock halogens.

I have a coupe, which already has projectors.
