Painted Emblems, They add a nice Touch ;)

Hey Guys,

Here are some emblems I have painted. They add a nice touch to our Accords. The process is easy if you have the right equipment! I would be more then happy to walk anyone through the process

Thanks, My favorite are the graphite pearl. I think they look so slick on that car

Basically I use the same materials used to paint a car. I have the basecoat and clear coat and everything gets shot out of my minigun.

Every once and a while I will have to buff out a dust nib, but they are pretty cool to see the final, finished product.

Yes, they are made by Eagle Eye. I have the red/clear Eagle Eye tail lights. They are available in Red/Clear, all Black, and all Smoke (the red/smoke has been discontinued). That is the first time I have seen either the Black or the Smoke on a vehicle. It's hard to tell if those are black or smoke. I am glad I got the red/clear because I don't like the look of those with the almost white looking LED board.

As for removing the H's

Front-

The Proper Way- Remove the bumper, then remove the grill. Pry the clip washers off the pegs of the H. From here you can pull the H right off. Another method is to apply light, to medium pressure behind the H with a flat head. The H will start to come forward, thus releasing the washer clips> Save and reuse clips for reinstallation.

The not so proper way, but still works Stick a flat head screwdriver behind the H and pull it off. You will loose the washer clips in the back most likely. For reinstallation, use super/hot glue to apply the H back to the grill itself.

Rear-

Just one way- Take dental floss or fishing line to get behind the H, start to pry it off gently. On the top of the H, there is double sided tape. Two pegs hold the H into the trunk. To reinstall you just pop the H back in. The pegs will line up with the holes on the trunk.
