It's middle of the road gear that is well marketed. I've always been a fan of Clarion Pro Audio head units. Eclipse also makes very nice( if a tad less reliable) head units. Melt 01-12-2004, 03:34 PM alpine makes great headunits as far as im concerned ... some arent that user friendly but if you read the manual you will be aight. Personally i cant afford em so i went for a panasonic ... ill let you guys know how i like it when it gets here. princess 01-12-2004, 03:44 PM We've had some great sound from Clarion & Denon. Being an "old timer" it seems like they've all gone disposable! Things just plain should last longer!!!:) I've always heard good things about Alpine in general. They used to be considered the top, but that was a few years back & haven't kept track. wave9984 01-12-2004, 04:48 PM Hilo. if you are looking for info on a product before you buy i use this site. www.carreview.com to see the ratings. dont buy from the stores they have on the site but they do have some reviews which would be better then nothing. i ask the reviewers questions about there products all the time and the ones i asked really knw what they are talking about. so check out that site if you guys want some extra info on a product. good luck. |
