 I just got my 06 LXSE and i love it. Ive always told myself i would never get a honda but I had trouble with my 01 chevy impala and decided to test drive an accord and thats all it took. I like to support american products and liked the ford fusion but it is the first year and is made in mexico. The honda is made here with 70% of its part made here (and canada) and has a great track record for reliability and fun to drive. My only problem with the car is i see that on the tires they have a red dot which is used to line up with the valve stem , the dot does not line up on any of my tires with the valve stems and looks like there is excesive wheel weights because of this. Hard to believe it came from the factory like that. Anyway sorry to ramble just wanted to say hi.

The red dot does not line up with the valve stems. Both the wheel and the tire manufacturer label their products, one with the spot where the wheel is the lightest and one where the tire is the heaviest (or vice versa). Then the factory lines up dot to sticker (sticker on the wheel of course) which creates a light vs. heavy mating and is presumed to be the optimal positioning so that they spend the least money on wheel weights.

thanks for the reply i always thought it was with the valve stem. still seems kind of weird that there would be that much variation from wheel to wheel where the dot is located. :

Are the audio and cruise switchs lit at night on the steering wheel. Share some more about the LXse. Pics would be nice also.
Im in the market for a Si or a Civic coupe. But if the dealers get stupid on the Si or coupe than I have kept my mind open to a LXse with a 5MT. Basicly looks like a EX with out moon roof, ambiant lighting, basic security, and lit door switchs. Is this a correct assumption?
Thanks Psy

Not sure if you are looking for a coupe or a sedan. I have an 05 LXSE coupe. It has the EX wheels & tires (205/60/R16), EX side skirts, & deck lid spoiler. The rest of it is supposed to be just like a LX. I think the LXSE goes for about $300 over the regular LX (at least my 05 did). There is no moon roof, no ambiant lighting, and the window switches are lit on the driver's side door but the door lock switches are not.
If you don't care about a sunroof, 6 disc changer (4 cyl model), rear disc brakes, automatic climate control, or leather interior than a LXSE might be for you.
