i know that this isn't the best forum to be asking this question, but just wondering if anyone on here did the high-beams in low-beam socket conversion? aka have high-beam blubs fit in low-beam socket?
wondering how well they work, and do they blind other drivers out there due to glare and/or extreme brightness???? :dunno:
TIA

Just as luck would have it driving home from work yesterday I was blinded by an oncoming car (comepletely pisses me off especially when it's not completely dark out), when I got close enough I noticed he had high beam lights in his low beam sockets. Different car though I think it was a grand AM if that matters.

Where is the location of the headlight bulb socket? I would like to make mine hyper white's (not the bootleg xenon looking ones, but a whiter beam than the somewhat dull white that comes stock). At night it seems like my lights aren't on even when they are. They look normal to me as any new Accord does, just would like that brighter image.

I have done it in my Grand Am and my brothers 95 Accord. You take the high beam bulbs and grind out the 2 little teeth. Then just put it in the low beam socket. Both of ours were in over 3 years with no burn outs or melted harnesses. I was thinkin about doin it to my 7th gen.

buffet,
did you ever get pulled over for having that set-up??? i.e., your lights are too bright?

neither of us did. I had that conversion done, the factory fog lights & I added two more in between the fog lights.
