ok, used the stevel cab today. (funny, it looked alot like my car. same scars and all).

:paranoid: it's the infamous 9th of the month today. one month since i was hit in the tsx (not my fault), 1 year since i was plowed into on the highway (not my fault), and 11 months from when i was pulled over because of speeding out of paranoia of a car tailing me (unfortunately was a cop, they shouldn't be allowed to abuse their power like that. )

looked it up, when i was rearended (again not my fault), it was october 19, 2001. so that was NOT the 9th, but well, the 19th. i guess the 9th was fine tuning itself at that point and the lines got crossed.

a bit :paranoid: of the 9th now days though.

my question is, once the 9th of the month has been "used" once, is it done? or can it keep being used???

ie are the 9th of october, november, & december "safe" for me now?

 people are talking about some accident on one of the highways here this morning and how they ran into other accidents on the routes that they were re-routing people through.....

The 9's... hmm.. Could be that point when the end of the month/beginning of the month pressure eases off and people start driving more aggressively as a result.

How's this for a 9 - filled up with costco trasholine for $2.19/gallon, drove all around new jersey yesterday mostly on route 1 and 9 now my car reads 19 mpg...

It may depend on how superstitious you are? You can always ease your way back into the 9's. :D

But you did mention quite a few accidents that did happen this morning.... :dunno:

Is it raining there because of the cold front? It's on and off here.........but we're supposed to get severe t-storms this afternoon - woohoo!

Don't mind me...I love t-storms (just as long as they don't produce any tornados; it's all good!)....... :naughty:

sunny this morning. windy. no rain. :(

i tried jumping back into the 9's after last november and december. then october 9th this year happened.......... :paranoid:

i might be my own threat now on the 9th because i may be overly catious and paranoid and manage to do something stupid myself. :lmao:

actually, yes it is for that reason.... just like saturday night.....

but, it would figure that i'm in norfolk, outside of the severe t-storm outbreak......

Awe - that stinks!! I'll have to keep you posted on the weather back in PA. :) What REALLY sucks where I live - for whatever reason - every, single, stinking time...the storms break up over our county. Oh yea! They'll be coming with force from the west - they'll hit every county on the way (even beside, above and below us) - and it breaks up. This past weekend's storm was exactly that. I watched the doppler radar in amazement! We aren't "that" mountainous.....don't know what else causes it? I'm about to ask my local meteorologist! :D :lmao:

BTW - love the Norfolk area; some of my family lives in Va Beach....

I know at times I can be my own worst enemy! :paranoid:
Keep postive and smiling today - and try to have the best day you possibly can! :D

hmmmm, are the mtns just to the west of you???? if so, the air goes across the mtns, and when it begins to descend, it dries out and stabilizes, that would explain why the storms always die before they get there.

from the resident weather :nerd:

I think the mountains run east to west, but where we live, the mountains are actually north (if that makes sense). :dunno:

It's so nice having a resident weather buff! :D
