We were driving on a lot of hills yesterday and after a while the transmission started to hold the gears longer, and hold higher ones.

The car's so smart!

probably a combo b/w grade logic, and the ecu changing itself to better handle the hills.....

Definitely grade logic. I love how it automatcally downshifts when you slow down, too. :)

Yeah sometimes it feels a little bit like a manual...

may be that's the real reason why i haven't bought a new one yet: sometimes, i drive like there's no tomorow, other times i take it easy..... it wouldn't know what to do with me behind the wheel.... :lmao:

it all depends on mood and traffic (i.e. road rage does play a factor)... :)

The cool part is that if you drive easy for a trip or two, then the next time you get on it....it ZOOMS even better!! In my case, if we did several weekend errands with him driving...when I get it back it's a REAL mpg killer!!! :lmao:
