Just saying hi; I've been looking around online for accord-specific forums, and until now I've really only used vtec.net.

I just bought an accord 2 weeks ago. First Honda, first Accord.

I got a 2006 EXV6NV Silver/Black

Thus far, the only changes are: Installed V1, Window Tinting. Waiting on an Ipod connection

Thus far, I've noticed roughness in the transmission; as well as some shift hesitation. Don't know if it's characteristic of the tranny, but I'm bringing it to the dealer to have them check on it. It's usually sort of snappy between first and 2nd gear, especially on low throttle imputs. Also, initial throttle inputs are slightly jumpy. Any insights?

dbw is the jumpiness you're getting.

it sounds like the things you've noticed about the transmission are the normal honda automatic things. ie pretty inherent in the tranny, nothing wrong. ;)

looks nice. what percent is your tint?

Limo back, medium front. I'm using a ceramic tint because of the Navi. Used a costco discount for it.

I know the front side tint is not legal in california, but I've never had an issue of cops pulling me over or giving me a fix-it ticket.

A note of interest: I just got my California plates via electronic filing. People with October 2005 plate reg are already in 5PQ####-5PS#### range. I just got my plates with an November Reg (bought on 10/31/2005), and I have a 5NC#### plate number. My coworker's Honda; purchased i august is also 5NC####, only 300 plate numbers ahead of me. I think our dealer had plate allocations from the DMV for plate filings, and have only sold about 300 or so vehicles between Mid august and the end of October
