Panic alarm malfunction

I have a 98 accord EX 4cyl.....tonight, when I unlocked the door with the key, the alarm went off....I put the key in the ignition and started the car...the alarm remained on.....the alarm went off after 2 minutes...I was able to drive the car. When I stop the car and open the door, the alarm goes off again....i tried disconnecting the negative on the battery to reset...does not work....also...the remote entry controls have not worked in a little while. What can be done to fix the alarm problem??

Even if the remote entry doesn't open any doors, see if it makes the lights flash when you click unlock. It sounds like your car just has the alarm activated all the time, and also the key in our cars isn't synched to the alarm system for some reason. I started the car while the alarm was still going off like you said.

OK...i will try...but pretty sure there is nothin'......any other suggestions??
