So about how much power steering fluid is in the system of a 95 Accord?

I go to do the turkey baster ****-out method- I ****ed all I could out of the reservoir, which appears to be about 11 ozs because that is how much I put back of new fluid. I fill it up and it looks nice and clear. I crank her up and it's back to nasty fluid again.

I've got another fresh bottle, but I was wondering how many times am I going to have to do this to get basically new fluid in there? And is there a better way to drain it? Surely ****ing out what you can and running it while dry is NOT good for the pump, right?

I don't know, but mine was in the back of my owners manual.

Instead of just ****ing it out and start for 30 secs, just leave it until the next time you drive the car, repeat, etc. It's not going to make a difference, it's just not going to wreck the engine as fast in an effort to save a measely power steering pump :lmao: But I think there should be a drain somewhere in the system...at worst maybe pull one of the hoses :dunno:
