anyone know how I can make my wireless notebook ONLY connect to my router vs. any router close enough to connect to?????

You're running XP right?

1. Click start -> Network connections
2. Right click "wireless network connection" then click properties
3. Click the "wireless networks" tab at the top of the window that pops up
4. Select each network that's not your own and delete it. Don't delete yours.
5. Click Advanced and uncheck "automatically connect to non-preferred networks"
6. Click OK or apply or whatever (I can't remember off the top of my head)

And then you should be all good to go.
