: New member, new car, new pics!!
3504speed 02-22-2010, 06:43 PM New member here with some pics of the wifes new coupe! We both love this car so far and look forward to getting some driving time in it.
It's a left over 2009 that they were having trouble selling do to the extra cost of the dealer installed options. But with some patience (took about a week) I was able to get them to work with me. 1.9% financing helped a little too.
Extra's include the ground effects, chrome grill, wheel locks, all weather floor mats and trunk mat and a window tint.

Thanks, I agree on the W on B.
I did not see the grill available from honda either, I assume it was an aftermarket and I forgot to ask them where they got it. It fits good though.
VTECkickedinyo 02-22-2010, 06:58 PM the ground effect kit looks very nice...better than it does in studio pictures
crea78 02-22-2010, 07:04 PM Looks nice :)

Thanks for all the compliments everybody.
There is few things I would like to do to this car, but it will have to be driven in the winter. She'd be pi$$ed at me the first time she was bucking snow and it was coming over the hood.

Lower it, and make it a snow plow :D

Hittman 02-23-2010, 07:54 AM Welcome to DA.net! Congrats on the new purchase. Hopefully they didn't bend you over too bad on the "dealer installed" options. They usually mark that stuff up quite a bit.
The chrome grille was the first thing that caught my eye. It actually works on the T.W. color.
Automatic or Manual Tranny?
lord nikon 02-23-2010, 08:17 AM welcome. nice!
searich07 02-23-2010, 08:42 AM 3504speed; Welcome to DA Forum. Congratulations on your first pose with photos Beautiful car, love those reflections which are so difficult to photograph unless light level is low. Looks like you washed and waxed it. Usually dealer cars are not that well finished. Best white car I have seen in a long time, Regards
Richard
desi786 02-23-2010, 09:01 AM clean ride! i would get rid of that black rubber strip going across your hood, it's interrupting the flow of the car for me. I used to have one of those on my car as well but I removed it and found to look a tad bit cleaner
Big LrG 02-23-2010, 09:06 AM nice pick up! welcome to DA. a few mods and shell be perfect!
rockstar143 02-23-2010, 09:11 AM Gorgeous car! I'm not a huge fan of chrome, but it doesn't look too bad. Maybe you could sell it to a member on here to recoup some of the money you had to spend on the HFP kit. Looks amazing! Also, are you in a state that req. the front plate? If not, lose that!
14353 02-23-2010, 09:46 AM Love the white color. Rim and drop during the summer!!!
Domtenn15 02-23-2010, 10:07 AM gorgeus car, but please get rid of that grill

Thanks, they wanted $2,368 for all the extras, including body kit, grill, window tint, wheel locks, all weather trunk and floor mats. They were hell bent on getting that number for that stuff. I tried everything I could think of to get them down including telling them I wouldn't have had them install this stuff so give me the unistalled price. However, they would deal on the base price of the car so we did it that way, didn't matter to me as long as the final was good.
We finally agreed on $24,591 for the car and the $2,368 for the extra's for a total of $26,959.00. You guys tell me, did I get the screw?
This is without sales tax of 8.2%, $100 for license and title transfer and a stupid $150 documentation fee that I wanted to shove you know where but it's a law they say so I just paid it.
Remember this is a 2009 automatic with no nav, no bluetooth. All in all I think I got a good deal. The best I could do on a 2010 was $28,100 with no extras, so we're happy.
x joe ls2 x 02-23-2010, 05:42 PM anyone else notice the guy sitting in the passenger seat ?? :lmao:

Sounds like a fair deal. The OEM Lip kit outside of the dealer is approximately $1,000 (without install). The grill, tint, locks, and mats aren't another $1368, but you give and take some. The base price of the vehicle sounds pretty good. I paid $22k after 6.5% taxes on an LX-S. 3 trims lower than you, so I'd say you fared out okay. Don't feel like you got shafted.

Thanks- that's my father-in-law on the pass side, I was taking him for a spin. We got up to 90 or so and he started to squirm a little so I backed off. He lives a very boring life.:D
3504speed 02-23-2010, 06:46 PM do you have any plans on selling the wheels? :)
Probably not, the plan right now is to use them for snow tires.:)
