: **OFFICIAL** 2010 NCAA Tournament Thread
Bullitt 03-14-2010, 03:17 PM Well as you all know it's march and time for march madness.. I know for the next few weeks everyone's going to be talking about it, SO lets start off the conversation with this thread
I'll start out by saying that Duke this year is untouchable and not one school can take them down. Duke FTMW!!
esquiss 03-14-2010, 04:33 PM i would put money on Kansas.
UCLA is and has been ****ing donkey balls for the last few years....so sad :boohoo:
ry05coupe 03-14-2010, 05:07 PM Not the same, but I watched my college team UK win the SEC today while at the gym. Ready for March Madness :D
suckiteasy 03-14-2010, 05:13 PM 'cuse nation (:
Osiris_x11 03-14-2010, 05:37 PM PITT were gifted a 3rd seed, wassup w/ dat? Anywayz... I'll take it, go Panthers! Go Big East!
UNC, UCLA, and UConn all under-achieved on an inconceivable level. Literally unbelievable.
Crooked'Calipari & his All-American/McDonald's/All-Star UK Wildcats bunch are presumable favorites to take down the nets, IMHO. . .
LRP_Accord 03-14-2010, 06:40 PM SEC champs UK. Do the J. Wall dance. This year should be interesting.

reframmellator 03-14-2010, 07:40 PM Interesting year in that so many traditional powers are down.
But Florida a 10??? I thought they were on the bubble at best.
Some mid-majors got no respect, case in point being Temple (5) playing Cornell (12).
Up here, Siena is the team that occupies our cold, dark, tax-heavy nights (well, not too cold this year.) They had much pre-season hype after knocking off Ohio State (Onions!!! Double order!!!) and causing Louisville to change their collective shorts, but they've never hit on all cylinders when it counted this year. They're 0-fer against quality opponents and when there are enough "off" games and injuries the answer is maybe they're not that good and deserve their 13. I think they can give Purdue a test. Fran McCaffery and his staff are pretty good at putting together a plan for the dance, their PG led Div I in assists last time I looked, and the team is near the top in fewest fouls committed. They have all the ingredients to get to the second round, but it remains to be seen whether they can finally get it all to click at once.
For most mid majors, getting to the second round is like the Big Guys getting to the Final Four.
Otherwise, go Pitt.

SatinSilver 03-26-2010, 06:27 AM ^ News to me since the only team in the BE I'm watching is West Virginia :D Can't wait to see them play KY.
Osiris_x11 03-26-2010, 12:30 PM ^ News to me since the only team in the BE I'm watching is West Virginia :D Can't wait to see them play KY. :banana:Yups, the Mountaineers are the only ones from the Big East who apparently came to play. They peaked at the right time late in the regular season, and as well when heading into the Big East tourney @ MSG. And they haven't let up since.
G-Town, Louisville, Nova', PITT, 'Cuse, etc' all laid some serious eggs. . .

I was ready to stop watching after the first 10 mins of the game. WV went almost 6mins without scoring a point. Glad I watched the entire game though.
