I've had my Viking Snow Techs installed since this past Sunday and got a chance to use them this morning.

I'm pleased to say that they did a very admiral job! I went to work early to beat some traffic and estimate about 2-3" of snow on the ground while snowing pretty hard during the commute. The tires gripped very well, much better than I was expecting having come from a 4WD SUV, and I was very confident when driving. In fact, on the highway, I proceeded to take the snow-covered (left) lane while others stayed in the other lanes.

My traction control only kicked in 3 times and ALL 3 times were of my own doing. I would take a turn and intentionally accelerate harder than I normally would in snow just so I could get an idea of how the car with the tires would respond. As far as my ABS, this only came on once, and again that was my doing as I intentionally braked hard (much harder than I had to) in my work parking lot - again just to get a feel.

As for the past few days of driving on dry pavement, I have to say that if I didn't know better, I'd think the stock Michelins were still on. I notice no more road noise and the ride seems very comparable. I definitely see why these tires were rated #2 in CR.
