1-bottle of OEM Acura Power Steering Fluid

I have receipts for the tires, front end protector, alignment, balance, etc. I change the oil on my own, so you'll have to follow my spreadsheet I keep on things I've done.

One small issue I even hate to bring up because it doesn't take away from the car, but I will so that I am clear. Some idiot in a parking lot scraped the drivers side passenger door on the trim molding. It took a spot of paint off that plastic molding about an inch long and a half inch tall. it did NOT touch the metal at all---just the plastic molding, which is nice! I touched it in and it looks decent. However, the replacement, painted trim piece, costs $60 from Honda. I just thought the touchup looked good enough. If you disagree, order the part, pop off the old and put the new one on. For $60, the car is as close to perfect as you can get!

Acquisition of a company vehicle forces sale. Trust me, my wife and I really, REALLY don't want to part company with this car. It's quiet, reliable, smooth, powerful and well taken care of. We planned to drive it to 200,000 miles!

I have the title in hand, the car is paid off. I live in Chicago-land; near Naperville, Illinois and will drive up to 75 miles from 60543 to deliver the car. Otherwise, delivery is up to you.

What size are the snow tires and would you be willing to sell them (separately from the car of course)?

Tires are Michelin X-Ice in 205/60/16. They are on Steel Rims and Hubcaps from my friends at the Tire Rack. They are great in the snow and ice and are showing no signs of wear; I estimate they have 7-8k on them with one rotation in there.

Let me know when you'll be in town. If the car and tires are still here, I'm happy to sell them to you.

Thanks!

I wasn't trying to ignore you. I just figured my post with the size and the fact I would sell them if they were around in January would suffice.

I won't be around on Monday as I'm currently out of town for x-mas. Sorry about that!

Car will be taken off the road effective 1/7/06 and stored in my garage until someone buys it. At that point, the snows will be removed and will be up for sale, individually. Same for the Passport Radar Locator.

One item I need to clarify. The Honda Care warranty makes me go back to my dealer, present proof of transfer (new title, or sales contract) and then my maintenance log. Well, I performed all the maintenance on my own, which amounted to oil changes, alignments and balance. At 17k, there isn't anything else to be done. I have receipts for all but the oil changes, which, again, I did on my own with Mobil 1 5W20 and a Honda filter.

My dealer is closed today, but I'll be calling them to see if this will present a problem. I doubt it will as they know me and realize I am very anal about my cars.

So, I've had one offer of $16k, which I had to politely chuckle at. Guys, the car is as close to new as you can get, comes with extras and basically has a certified warranty to 100k or 7-years. $16k? Come on now...

Tough time of year to sell a car but I hate the goofs that low ball a nice looking car like yours. I wouldn't even reply to someone that outrageously low balls... waste of skin!

I think you should be able to get around $20K for the car. I think people who make such low offers don't know anything about Honda's value. :dunno:

The value is around $19-$22k---that's the "range." With the snows, radar receiver, front end guard, warranty, etc. there's another $1,700 in "extras." One also has to consider the stock tires have basically no wear on them due to the use of snow tires, the car is immaculate and has been well cared for.

That said, $20k would cause me to draw up a sales contract and move it out of my garage

You should advertise it on the online car selling websites....If you are not already doing that. Not really sure what the sites charge though. I sold a motorcycle on Ebay once you could give that a try, just make sure you put a reserve on it so I doesn't sell for $5K or something low.

You should post it on craigslist (it is free).

I've sold 4 cars on Ebay, so I may go that route soon. I just didn't want to until I knew that my wife was done driving it. That will be this week, so, no time like the present, right? :naughty:

I might also try this "Craigslist."

SOLD!

I love Ebay. It's on ebay for two days and it's sold. Proves the far reaching advertising effects that the 'Bay has.

Congrats on the sale! Looks like a good guy bought it too (long time ebay member with no negative feedback).

Yup. I talked to him on the phone this morning and worked out all the details. Seemed like a nice enough guy. Looks like he'll pick it up a week from today.

How much did the ebay add cost you? Do they come out and photograph the car or do you shoot your own?

I'm looking into selling my 03 Accord EX V6.

Thanks,
