Hello everyone. I have a 2003 Accord EX-V6 sedan and I have just started to notice a strange metallic, almost jingle bell sound when I turn the wheel to the right. In addition to jingle bells, I also hear a strange whining sound when backing. Two new noises on the same day, lucky me I guess. Has anybody experienced anything similar? My temporary solution has been to turn up the stereo but I figure I should get it checked before it gets too bad.
PS Does anyone else get a rotten egg smell in their Accord every once in a while (it's not me, I swear.)

Welcome!
Have you had the tranny replaced or updated yet?
SB 03-091 located in the Factory Direct area of this forum might help with the sulfur smell.

Brakes??? Sounds like rear ones.... "jingle bells" when forward & whining in reverse..... it's a Honda special indicator noise!!! :lmao: If it had been Spring it would've been Peter Cotton Tail!!!
Ditto about the rotten egg smell....check the bulletin SOME is normal when under a load for quite a while since unleaded gas has some sulfur in it. But too much could be what the bulletin says.

Thanks, Princess, you were correct. The rear brakes were the problem and now Michelle (my Honda's name) is all set.

I will check out the forum as well. The smell only happens once in a great while and thankfully when I am the only one in the car.
