Has anyone had experience with this? I was wondering if they even fit properly first. If they do fit do you think the Retrosolutions 6000k bulbs would look much different if any than DDMTuning 6000k bulbs? Since ballasts are out of the equation, they should be similar? I have 55w and 35w 6000k HIDs for lows and fogs respectively.
My alarm went off for a good 30 seconds, flashing my headlights like crazy, and it burned my right side headlight =/.

You can mismatch em, but I think you need a relay harness...>>;

dont think a relay harness will keep a bulb from burning out, all it does is make it easier for the bulb to draw power. but man now im worried about my alarm going off once i install my hids lool

I never heard anyone's alarm go off though, I installed bout 30+ hids on cars..not a single one went off like that.

no i think he means his alarm went off for some other reason, not because of the HIds. while the alarm was flashing his lights his bulb burned out...thats what i meant, not that the kit will set offmy alarm haha

Yeah, my alarm went off at the gas station. Friend called me, all I heard was my alarm and I ran to the exit.
Glad to hear they will fit.
Now I'm wondering if there would be a difference between quality of color of the two?

35w - 5000k = white
55w - 5000k = 4300k color
35w - 6000k = white with blue
55w - 6000k = 5000k color
Wouldn't matter what brand or manufacturer it came from...it's all the same. lol

Wouldn't matter what brand or manufacturer it came from...it's all the same. lol well i believe retrosolutions would use a true 55watt bulb and 55watt ballast in their 55watt kit versus just a 35watt bulb and a 55watt ballast like most other companies.
I can vouch for retrosolutions because my 55w 6000k kit on the low beams does not look 5000k in color, it looks EXACTLY like the 35watt 6000k retrosolutions kit in the fog lights, no color dillusion...

^I got that in projectors. It only comes out that way in a halogen housing I think, but when I switched to d2s bulbs, this is what I got.

Not sure what you mean. the color difference is a light wash out effect that happens regardless of the housing..as far as i know anyway
