An Eimac tube and a filament transformer? Looks like a Thordarson transformer? I remember the yellow label, but it's killing me to try and think of what manufacturer that is! :bawling:

It's a Chicago Standard transformer. All you had to do was run a Google search with the model number and the word transformer. :D

I've been associated with electronics for a long time, but I have no idea what those components, when assembled, would be used for. Care to enlighten us?

Originally desgined as an RF transmitting tube. Puts out about 1.7KW of power when run at 7.5KV. That's seven thousand five hundered volts folks :eek: As an audio tube you could get about 200-250 watts RMS out of one tube running the same voltage. Serious Tubeage

Whats the gamma ray count? Do you need to wear lead aprons when transmitting:D
