For me, it's a Canon S40 digital for web stuff and a Nikon N90 for photography stuff. I actually use the S40 more than anything else these days. Digital is just an easy format to shoot and edit with.

The digital is a Canon powershot A50. The digital video is a Canon ZR70.
The OLD 35mm that is used for the "good" pictures....is a Canon T90.

Seeing a pattern here?

Hey, I've said I was very brand loyal! Actually it's mostly a comfort factor. They are comfy cameras.:)

Digital Sony FD-87 FD-100 Nikon coolpix 4500

SLR - Canon Tx -- manual all the way

I use Sony's for work photo's -- like the 2.5" viewfinder -- easier to see in daylight...
Nikon was a business write off last year --- can run at full manual

Software.. Pixela/imagemaker, MGI photosuite 8.1, Nikon View

MGI best out of those...

Looking at Photoshop Cs for this years write off.

Our very first digital came with "agfa photowise" it's so user friendly! We kept it on the computer after we went on the next camera. We also have Photodraw, Soap, & more that I never have used so I have no idea what they are. We have a crowded computer!

You know how so many home systems have a couple dozen short cuts on the desktop? Well, he's got ours nearly covered & that's just a sample of the programs in here. Not my thing, I just use it.

We don't use the T90 much either. It's a great camera. Just digital is so much faster to SEE & share.

You need to check into Xp Pro if your not on a Mac it has a unused desktop Icons folder to keep it clear....

The Photoshop CS Just came out last month. It's something that I would like to play with and maybe do more Photography work. My business slows down in the winter months 3-4 hours a day so I'm always looking to supplement when I can....

Is that part of Windows XP, if so we have it. Something's always trying to stash the icons. We use them enough to want them on top, just occationally the little box comes up to get rid of them. Our friends & family laugh at the screen when they see it though.

All kinds of photography is great! We haven't dragged out the darkroom stuff in a few years. But enjoyed that too.

Yes that is part of Xp and all it does is give you one icon called unused desktop icons on your desktop and its just one more click away to get to all those that are in there... pretty cool.
And pretty neat.... Haha.

My main camera is an old Canon S30. I want a Canon Digi SLR for christmas!! Yeah right, after my parents bought me the car, they're not gunna buy me a $1000 camera lol. My S30 will whoop some of the newer models, even my uncle's new S50 can't match it :) I have ISO 800, his is only up to 400. My menu's are easier to use too, I didn't need the owner's manual to figure everything out, real cool.

Did someone say "old". I still have my match needle Canon FTb. Also have an automatic SLR Minolta and a few rangefinders laying around. No digi yet. I'm still waiting for the prices to come down further for the better resolution models.

We bought another camera over the weekend... a little Canon Elph S400. It's tiny & has better picture quality than the other one. So far we're really loving it!

I used an ELPH S400 for a while (friend's camera) and I didn't really like it. Really confusing and complicated menu's, only ISO400, too small for my hand, etc. Seem like Canon has made a move to confuse the consumer because my menu's are very simple to use while the new S45/S50 has the same confusing menus as the ELPH S400.

No way! It's easy to use! Just with the touch of your thumb & you can make many changes. The icons & terms are the same as we've had before, piece of cake....:) The images are sharper than the other one too. We're happy campers!
