I tried to do a search but could not find any info on this. My 2002 accord interior fan will not work on settings 1,2 or 3...only works at highest setting. This is too strong and too loud. I read there may be a defective resistor module switch on the motor. Anyone know how to replace this...of if I am even on the right track?

The symptoms you describe fit perfectly with a dead resistor pack. The system works by applying power to the fan circuit, and then selecting which resistor the fan should share power with, thus reducing its speed. At the highest setting, no resistor is used.
Don't know where its located or how to replace it though :(

heater pieces
could be a loose wire or short
blown fuse # 56
blower motor
blower resistor (should have 3-3.5 ohms)
heater fan switch
you'd need to check for continuity to these parts.
