I am interested in buying the ATEQ tpms quickset for the 2010 accord coupe‏. However it stated to work for 2008 to 2009. Has anyone try to use it on a 2010?

I did, works as advertised on 2010 models as well.

I need this tool for my 10 accord did you get the dealer to tell you the serial numbers for the stock wheels if so did they charge you to get that info?

Can some explain what is the difference in the normal TPMS in our car than this?

Nope. The tool reads them without dealer intervention. Easy as pie to use.

This isn't another TPMS, it's a tool that allows you to reprogram your tpms.

Oh ok thanks! So is it for when we get new wheels and tires or something?

Its for when you get new tpms .. or if you have 2 sets of wheels lets say a winter set and a summer set both with their own tpms sets, it's just a cheaper way of doing it instead of going to the dealership to let them reset / program them.

OK, I am a bit confused about the ATEQ Quickset tool. Will the tool either read the TPMS sensors installed on the car/retrieve the sensor info from the ECU or, do you have to have the sensor ID info and enter it during the set up?
I quess what I am really asking is: I have a 2008 Sedan with oem wheels and tires. I want to buy winter tires, steel rims and TPMS sensors and do the winter-summer tire thing. Is the ATEQ Quickset the only tool that I need to swap summer/winter TPMS sensor info and keep the TPMS working year round?
Thanks!

Answered my own question. Tirerack.com had a good description of the Quickset and yes, it will read the current sensor info from the car.
Thanks!
