About half the time, my left turn signal flashes really fast like it does when a bulb is burned out. The front one doesn't flash and the rear one flashes at about twice the normal rate. And of course I'm due for inspection, so you know which part of the 50% will be in effect then. I did have a small accident a month ago where I rear ended an SUV, and it did knock out the right headlight. A bulb can't be failing intermittently, so what can this be???

Well, a little banging on it made it work.... for now. Dang, this car is too new to act like this.... and it's not a Chrysler, for heaven's sake!
Edit: Wow, this is getting worse! About two hours later after banging on the headlight, the battery is dead! I did manage to forget and leave the headlights on for those two hours (duh), so I suppose halogens do draw a lot and hopefully that is it.

Something was missed in the repairs....it sounds like you have wires touching that shouldn't be. You might be able to find it with a short detector (a pointy thing that lights up when it finds power) & following the wires in the area.
If a bulb has a broken element that still touches, then it could be intermitten too.
Happy hunting!! :)

Mmm, this problem is very elusive. I did notice that the lower bulb seems loose, as does the whole curved side of the headlight for that matter - the other headlight that was replaced is nice and solid - so if anyone (6th gen) wants to try theirs in passing and let me know if it is solid or gives a little, I would appreciate it. And now the banging doesn't work anymore.

Edit: All right, you guys flunk the forum helpfulness test - I'm going back to my 1st gen Integra forum!
The key to getting your hand in there to replace the bulb is to peel back the plastic inner fender liner all the way to the bottom of the bumper so you can go up from below rather than trying to go in from above where the space is just too small. You don't even have to undo the snap clip in the wheel well. I was able to just flex the fender liner at the corner near the top of the bumper and pull it out at the bumper lip.
I think the bulb was an incorrect one for the socket, a little too small so it was intermittent.
Another key is to twist the complete fixture to pull it out - I was stupidly trying to snap the white plastic wiring connector out of the gray socket from inside the fender, which as you may have guessed, is darn near impossible.
And a final misconception of mine was I thought there were two bulbs because of the reflector. Fellow 6th gen owners, take a look and see if you agree.
