Hi. Well, I have to be honest - I'm not really fond of detailing my car. But I do enjoy a good looking car. I have a pretty new 06 V6 Accord that I really enjoy and I would like to detail thouroughly once MAYBE twice per year. What would you recommend for the wash / polish / wax (sorry, I'm not a detail buff, so if I'm not saying some of these things right - forgive me)? I'm looking for a long lasting shine that will protect the paint as well. I wash the car occasionally. Also, I'm going to purchase some Lexol products for the leather interior. Thanks for any comments.

There are many, many products but since you admit detailing ain't your thing read this:

The reading is a bit lengthy but it will be worth your while. I still use the product and couldn't be happier....and I AM a detail nut!

Simple, easy on & off, and more important, it works! Once or twice a year will keep it looking sharp. Uh, you DO have to wash it now and then :)

Thanks RTexasF! That was a long read, but a good one. I did search through previous threads - but I didn't see this one. Thanks again, I'll check Wet Paint out.

By the way, what do you usually use for leather conditioner?

I don't have leather in the car but when I sold leather furniture in the past Lexol was the preferred choice.

If you go for the WP order the combo pack, it will do your car more than dozen times and the pump up spayer is reusable so only refills are required in the future.
