I spent some time at the dealer on Friday (about 4.5 hours). I had them looking at my car for 3 different rattles that I had. They performed TSB a04-056 & a04-057. They also removed and resealed my windshield. They told me to leave the bandages on the car for at least 48 hours.

The results? For the first time since I drove off the lot my car is silent, no rattles or creaks or popping sounds <knock on wood>.

Are you sure they removed the windshield? From the looks of things they cleaned and sealed the lower part of the weather stripping. Removing the whole windshield sounds a bit drastic and I would expect more bandages all around :dunno:
Good you have it silent  Enjoy!!!

Yup, normally when they remove the whole windshield they will tape the whole perimeter except @ the cowl.

Good question. They told me they resealed the windshield ... whatever that means :dunno:

Yup they sealed the lower I think 8 inches (according to the TSB) of the weatherstripping, although 48 hours seems a bit excessive, the 3M sealant they should use would be done in 4hrs. It taps on the outside of the windshield, horrible noise.
It has a tendency to recur so keep an eye on it and that they sealed it well and didn't leave a gap. You don't want too much water seeping between the stripping and the windshield. It's not completely waterproof, but the way the rubber tapers towards the windshield pushes the water up into the channel and upwards at speed, too thick an edge and it won't do that.
